Michael Barzelay
CTSI Executive Director

Michael Barzelay is Professor of Public Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
He is an author of five books and numerous articles on public management and public policy and served as co-editor of Governance, a leading international academic journal of political science and public administration.
Michael Barzelay earned his PhD in Political Science from Yale and served on the faculty of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government for 10 years before moving to LSE in 1995. He holds an honorary doctorate in political science from University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). He also has extensive consulting and executive teaching experience.
